We adhere to the principle of data minimization, collecting only what is necessary to provide our services.

A. Information You Provide to Us

  • Account Information: When you sign in using Google Sign-In, we collect your email address, name, and profile picture to create your account and sync your data across devices.
  • User Content: We store your preferences, including your "Collection" (favorite Esmas), "Custom Zikir" settings (names, counts, intervals), and your progress within the App.
  • Support Communications: If you contact us for support, we may collect your email address and the content of your message.

B. Automatically Collected Information

  • Device Information: We may collect anonymous data about your device, such as model, operating system version, and language settings, to ensure App compatibility.
  • Usage Data: We collect anonymous usage statistics (e.g., screens visited, session duration) to improve the user experience.
  • Crash Logs: In the event of an error, we may collect anonymous crash reports to help us fix bugs and improve stability.

3. How We Use Your Information

We process your data for the following purposes:

  • Service Provision: To provide the App's core features, such as the Daily Orientation, Zikirmatik, and Custom Zikir tools.
  • Synchronization: To sync your progress, favorites, and premium status across multiple devices via our backend provider (Supabase).
  • Personalization: To remember your language preferences and display content relevant to you.
  • Monetization: To display advertisements (for free users) and manage premium subscriptions.
  • Improvement: To analyze usage trends and enhance the App's performance and features.

4. Third-Party Services and Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. However, we use trusted third-party service providers to help us operate the App. These partners have their own privacy policies:

  • Google AdMob: Displays advertisements to non-premium users. Google may use unique identifiers to personalize ads based on your interests (subject to your consent in EEA/UK). Google AdMob Privacy
  • Google Play Store / Apple App Store: Handles payment processing for Premium subscriptions. We do not store your credit card or financial information.

5. Premium Subscriptions

If you purchase a "Meva Premium" subscription:

  • Payments are processed directly by the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
  • Your premium status is synced to our database (Supabase) to ensure you can access premium features on any device where you are logged in.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

  • Retention: We retain your account data as long as your account is active.
  • Deletion: You have the right to delete your account and all associated data at any time. You can do this directly within the App via Settings > Account > Delete Account. Upon deletion, your data is permanently removed from our active database.

7. International Data Transfers

Our servers (via Supabase) may be located outside of your country of residence. By using the App, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries that may have different data protection laws than your own. We take appropriate measures to ensure your data remains protected.

8. Children's Privacy

Meva is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or higher age limit depending on your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected such data, we will take steps to delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy or through an in-app notification.
